STORM
does not, as a group, recommend books for purchase, but some of our members do have our own favorites. As well, there are
many books out there on paranormal topics. Please read all you can about the paranormal, and never forget to keep your
mind open!
DIANE
RECOMMENDS
“Ghost
–Investigating the Other Side” by Katherine Ramsland
Its a great
read for any level of ghost enthusiast. The author of this books enters the field of paranormal research with one thing only,
a story of a haunted ring. While she may already have an interest in the paranormal, she has no knowledge of ghosthunting
specifically, and no idea how to discover if anything about the ring and its story may be true. Follow the author
as she encounters different people and different procedures, has her own experiences with the paranormal, and makes up her
own mind about what "may be out there" along her journey. She may have made some dark discoveries about her ring...well, maybe.
Whether or not you believe in the tale of the haunting she presents, the people and procedures she encounters are interesting
and make this book a really good read.
Ghost
Research 101: Investigating Haunted Homes
by Dave Juliano
Paperback: 74 pages
ISBN: 0977722317
Dave is one
of the founders of Shadowlands, and I think he is right on target with his openminded and respectful philosophy. See all his
books and articles, and dont forget to visit the Shadowlands website. Tell him STORM sent ya!
I also enjoyed
the simple "how to" book:
How
to Photograph the Paranormal
by
Leonore Sweet, PhD.
It was interesting
and informative, but I am not so sure I feel comfortable taking death mask photos of pets, friends or family members, so I
will hold off on that one. But the pictures and procedures were informative.
And
finally:
The
Case for Ghosts: An Objective Look at the Paranormal
by
J. Allan Danelek
220 pages

There
are many books out there on the paranormal, and some have more rational intelligent content than others. While members
have not yet written reviews or perhaps even read these following titles, please check these out and tell us your opinions
on these "paranormal" books and how-to guides. Email us YOUR reviews and we may publish them here!
